Environmental Approach
Reduction of Chemical Substances

Since 2001, we have been implementing green procurement in order to reduce environmental impact substances. We procure parts with lower environmental impacts and incorporate them into new products. Data on chemical substances obtained are compiled in a database for efficient use.

1) Reduction of halogen substances

Conventionally, halogen substances were used for plastic cases and printed circuit boards; however, halogen-free materials are used to reduce halogen substances.
Currently, halogen-free materials are used for most of our products.

2) Reduction of polyvinyl chloride

Currently, the use of polyvinyl chloride is eliminated in most of our products (except electric wires).
