TOSHIBA TEC Corporation has drawn up a voluntary action plan on the environment (operation items, target values, target years and the amount of capital investment, etc.), made changes to the plan and is promoting "continuous improvements" in accordance with the plan.
Since 1993 when the "First Voluntary Plan for Environmental Protection" commenced, business sites and development/design divisions have been implementing the plan according to their respective aims and objectives.
In addition, since 2005, the TOSHIBA TEC Group has been promoting its "Fourth Voluntary Plan for Environmental Protection" targeted for fiscal 2010, for further promotion of environmental management.
